This event is handicap accessibleWe are taking part in the January 5 Day of Service, an opportunity for citizens of all ages to respond to Governor Janet Mills's call to action in Maine communities. The statewide Day of Service gives area residents a chance to achieve results in just a few hours.
Service Project
Assist with two renovation projects — our Coastal Resource Library and the Alheim campus housing. It will be physical work with possible painting, moving furniture and packed boxes, removing shelving. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
Good to Know

Prepare for both indoor and outdoor physical work. Wear layers, gloves, hat, winter coat, warm footwear. We have some work gloves and will provide safety glasses if needed.

Experience with tools is helpful, but not necessary.

Older teens (15-18) are welcome.
Can accommodate groups (youth, church, employee, civic, etc.)
